Acid Slurry

Acid Slurry

Acid slurry, also known as linear alkyl benzene sulfonic acid (LABSA), is a viscous, brown-colored liquid widely used in the production of detergents and cleaning products. It is produced by sulfonating linear alkyl benzene (LAB) with sulfuric acid. Acid slurry serves as a key surfactant and foaming agent in various household and industrial cleaning formulations, including liquid soaps, dishwashing liquids, laundry detergents, and industrial cleaners. Its excellent cleaning properties make it effective in removing dirt, grease, and stains from various surfaces.

Acid slurry also acts as a wetting agent, facilitating the penetration of water and detergent into fabrics for thorough cleaning. Additionally, it exhibits good solubility in water and compatibility with other ingredients, making it versatile for formulating a wide range of cleaning products.
